I Was Privilaged To Be Invited By Good Friend And Jujitsu-Ka Sensei Frank Watson Of The Coatbridge
Jujitsu & Kobudo Club To Come & Share My Knowladge Of My Style Of Martial Arts. In My Younger Days I Was Taught The
Art Of Nanbudo / Sankukai Karate By Sensei Bill Stott. A Key Part Of That Training Was Randori. I Gave Sensei Watson's Students
A Brief Insight Into 2 Of The 4 Nanbudo Randori Kata. Randori Nino Kata Involves Escaping The Aggressors Attack, Defending
Using The Hands & Counter Attacking Using The Legs At The Same Time. Randori Yono Kata Involves Escaping, &
Taking The Attacker To Ground Using Locks, Sweeps & Takedown Techniques. I Would Like To Take The Oppertunity
To Thank Sensei Watson & His Students (Special Mention To Tom & Dave For Being Such Good Uke) For The
Open Minded Approach To My Lesson & The Courtesy Extended To Us On Our Visit. Furthermore, I Would Also
Like To Extend My Own Personal Thanks To Sensei Watson For The Framed Certificate Presented To Me At The End Of The Class. We
Hope To Do More of The Same For Years To Come.

Visit From Sensei Kevin Don From Kyokoshin Hong Kong
The Club Had the Good Fortune Of Training With Sensei Kevin Don From The Kykoshin Dojo In Hong
Kong. We Were Given An Insight Into The Rules Of Kyokoshin And Its Effects On The Body. Kyokoshin Fighting Does Not Go On
The Standard Points System, They Do Not Use Pads Or Gloves When Fighting And Its Main Aim Is To Knock Your Opponent
Down. A Very Effective & In Kevins Own Words " Brutal Art". It Was A Pleasure To Train With Kevin And Exchange Some Ideas
& Hope To Do So Again (Pictures Coming Soon) For More Information On Kyokoshin Click The Above Link
